Eduardo rode his handcycle thousands of miles in pursuit of joy. Edu's spirit rides on through the Eduardo Aguirre Adaptive Cycling Center, which opened in March 2024 in the Sam Lena Recreation Area. The Center is named in honor of our cycling coordinator who empowered many people with disabilities to embrace cycling for mental and physical health. Please help SAAS continue Eduardo's dream by donating to support this unique Center. This year, our sponsor Omeo has launched Team Access, the adaptive cycling team riding for Southern Arizona Adaptive Sports in El Tour de Tucson 2024! Omeo will provide complimentary registrations for handcyclists, side-by-side tandem riders, and anyone who pledges to ride with Team Access for SAAS, raising awareness about the benefits of cycling for all - especially for people dealing with mental & physical health challenges.
We have the additional incentive of a MATCHING GRANT from a generous anonymous donor who will match all donations up to our $25,000 goal! Please join us! Ride & raise funds, donate here, and empower all to achieve positive mental & physical health! Mia Hansen 520-370-0588
